What to expect

A typical full-day will start at first light with a short walk from the parking lot down to the river. We will be moving from spot to spot on the river by walking and by driving from parking lot to parking lot. Around mid-day we will have a break on the river bank or at the car for a quick lunch. Lunch is not provided, but I will have a cooler with snacks and drinks for the day. Accommodations can be provided, don’t be afraid to ask! After lunch we will continue fishing.

Half day trips are also an option. They will either start in the morning or in the afternoon and will involve the same opportunities as a full day trip. This is a great option for the angler who is looking to do some fishing on their own, but wants some local knowledge to get them started.

There are many ways to catch a steelhead. I provide all the gear for fly fishing and also float fishing, both are very effective. Your trip will be catered to you and what you want to get out of it. If you want to learn how to fly fish for steelhead, float fish for steelhead or even swing flies for them, we can do that. If you want to just catch fish we can do that too. Obviously catching a fish is not a guarantee, however I will do everything I can to get the job done.
