Fall Trout/Salmon (Book Now)
-Currently the bite in the Apostle Islands remains consistent for lake trout and coho salmon. Fish are moving deeper with the warming water temps, but are still feeding well. Check out “Beyond The Catch Guide Service” on Facebook if you’re interested in a charter trip. The rivers are empty of anything worth catching, but a few resident brook trout. Maybe the 3wt and some dry flies could be fun. Coming up is my second trip to Alaska, fly fishing pink salmon. Camping and fishing amongst the bear is always an experience. There will be a highlight video provided everything goes to plan.
Fall Trout/Salmon Opportunities
I have a lot of openings this fall for lake run brown trout and coho salmon. These trips take place on small, remote streams that don’t see much fishing pressure. Starting Mid September there will be fish in the rivers until the season closes mid November. The end of the season always seems to be better, so book early to secure those spots. I will also be chasing trophy splake, which is a cross breed of a lake trout and a brook trout. The colors they get in the fall are amazing and are a definite bucket list fish. (pictured below) I’ll post some pictures of previous success below, but if there’s any interest call/text (715)4415566 or email allwaysangling1@gmail.com.
